At Newton College we are looking for a Support Teacher for our secondary level, to be part of our team in 2022.

  • Teaching qualification (bachelor’s degree)
  • A minimum FCE level of English (essential)
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Confident in the use of technology tools for teaching
  • Contributes in the preparation of lessons following the guidelines provided by the class teacher and creates supporting materials to expand student learning.
  • Provides one-on-one support for students who may need more supervision and feedback, and manages student behaviour through positive reinforcement.
  • Plans and delivers small group sessions, preparing engaging resources and employing effective strategies.
