Newton College (Lima, Peru) is a leading, private, Peruvian-British, co-educational school for 1500 students aged 2-18. Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Primary School teacher who is committed to the holistic growth of pupils. Staff are well supported by Subject Coordinators, a Student Engagement Department and teachers of specialist subjects.

Interested candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Post Profile:
  • Hold a degree in Primary or Early Years education, preferably with an EAL speciality.
  • Have experience of teaching English as an additional language.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom practice that promotes inquiry-based learning.
  • Command a wide range of digital tools for teaching, communicating and data collecting.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate a growth mind-set and positive drive.
  • Some knowledge of Spanish would be advantageous.

  • Experience teaching the IB PYP would be advantageous.
  • Some knowledge of Spanish would be advantageous.
