Newton Delegation Shines in 2019

Commitment, perseverance, and teamwork are some of the words that can best describe the Newton Delegation´s performance in 2019. Having started the year obtaining the Outstanding Delegation award in AltMUN and ending the year by achieving the Best delegation Award in CpbMUN, having obtained four delegation awards throughout the year. Our students have not only shined as delegates but also as a delegation.

One of the highlights of 2019 was Newton´s participation in CpbMUN. Throughout the conference students were ready to participate, connecting with delegates from other schools and motivating each other to continue giving their best. Each delegate celebrated each other and were amazed to learn they had achieved the Best delegation award.

We are very proud of the commitment displayed by our delegates and executive team who give various weekends a year in favour of participating in conferences nationally and internationally. The Newton MUN team values the leadership opportunities given by MUN and the platform each student is given to voice their opinions and broaden their understanding. We also commend students who at a young age have embraced MUN and were recognized with various awards throughout the year.

Finally, it is not without the support from our faculty advisors who week after week plan towards supporting students and motivating them to find ways of using their talents. We look forward to welcoming the MUN community to our upcoming conference, NewMUN 2020 and wish each student the best as they take an active role as diplomats.
