The Personal Project is a sustained investigation that’s completed in the final year of the Middle Years Programme. It’s an accessible and inclusive experience that provides the student with the opportunity to investigate and develop an inquiry into one of their passions or interests.
The project helps the student to deepen their knowledge and understanding of a topic, improve existing skills or develop new ones and learn more about themselves in the process.
The working behaviours exhibited in the project replicate those required in the IB’s Diploma Programme and students need to demonstrate that they can self regulate their own learning throughout the investigation process.
This year our Form IV’s have used their imagination and ingenuity to overcome the barriers posed by Covid-19 and produced some spectacular results in the process.
