The Course of Psychology mainly performs support and consultancy assistance within the school, with its primary objective to develop and promote the well-being of students. This is done through evaluations, observations, counseling, consulting, and workshops among others. It is supplemented by training for parents and teachers.

To fulfill its objectives, the Psychology Department regularly organizes talks and workshops in family counseling and actively participates in the Democratic Co-existence in School. It also plays an important role in the process of admission of new Newton College students and oversees student support in different areas of learning for those students in need.
