The Newton College curriculum has a constructivist view of teaching and learning where we believe that learning happens inside the heads of learners - where they have to construct new knowledge, skills and attitudes – albeit with our skilled teachers input and help. The heart of our curriculum is the knowledge of individual learners' needs and quality teacher–pupil relationships.

Tasks are challenging and success criteria, questioning and feedback are used to advance and support learning.
