LOWER SCHOOL
Dear Parents,
We would like to inform you of the various extra-curricular activities that are being offered by the school this year. These activities are from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. onwards. Pupils must be ready to start the activity at the times stated.
This year we would like to emphasize the importance of practicing as much sport
as possible and of representing the school. Attached is the “Athlete’s Pledge” which we would like our pupils and their parents to commit to. We strongly believe that the practice of sport helps our pupils to develop many positive characteristics (self discipline, endurance, solidarity, emotional intelligence, etc.) which will serve them in all walks of life.
Following the all around development of our students, the school has planned for this year, the construction of a semi olympic swimming pool. As soon as it will be ready, an evaluation will take place for those who know how to swim and would like to be part of our school team.
On Saturday mornings, the Academy will take place according to age groups as stated in this document.We hope you will be able to attend some or all of the sports events that your child takes part in this year. Your presence will be motivating and greatly appreciated.

We should like to emphasise that once a pupil commits himself/herself to a sport, he/she must attend practices regularly. We intend to give special prizes to the students who train regularly and support school teams with enthusiasm. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind parents that any pupil who is called to represent the school in any sports event, is obliged to do so. On no account may a pupil of the school ever play for a team against the school. As you can understand, we must engender a spirit of alma mater in all our students.
We hope to have your full cooperation in these matters and invite you to attend all sports events this year. Your support will be greatly appreciated, especially by your children.
