LA FAMILIA (NIVEL I)
Al estudiar “La familia” disfrutamos de momentos muy significativos pues se establecieron lazos más sólidos aún con los miembros de nuestra familia que son parte activa en nuestro aprendizaje. Una de las actividades que nos llenó de emoción fue la visita de nuestros abuelitos y abuelitas, quienes compartieron con nosotros sus maravillosas historias y nos brindaron todo su amor y cariño.
HEALTHY DAY (LEVEL II)
In our transdisciplinary unit “Looking after ourselves”, children experienced six different stations (practicing sports, eating healthy food, keeping clean, sleeping, having fun and avoiding danger) and through this tour they became more reflective about the things that are necessary in order to have a healthy and happy life.
EARLY YEARS CATWALK (PRE-KINDER)
In our unit of inquiry “Looking in the Mirror”, we discussed our families and the different roles that each person has. One specific week we talked about mothers and fathers. The children had to come to school dressed as their mother or father and we did a catwalk show in which the children became risk-takers and walked down the catwalk to show off their clothes.
IT´S ALL ABOUT YOU AND ME (KINDER)
During our transdisciplinary unit “It’s all about you and me”, our kindergarten children learnt that they are all different and special by finding out more about them and their friends. They shared their favourite toys, they showed us their family members and exchanged special things with a special friend. It was an important experience for them to learn more about each other. |
| CHARLAS DE
ORIENTACIÓN FAMILIAR |

En junio se llevó a cabo la primera charla-taller “Aprendiendo a manejar mejor la conducta de nuestros hijos” como parte del programa de Orientación Familiar de Early Years.
Uno de nuestros principales objetivos con este programa, es contar con un espacio de diálogo, discusión e intercambio de experiencias que, a través de un análisis guiado, permitan a los padres apropiarse de herramientas para afrontar los retos de la paternidad y así contribuir al mejor ejercicio del rol paterno. Es desde esta perspectiva que buscamos estimular la participación activa de padres y/o abuelos, en la educación de sus hijos y en el esfuerzo por contrarrestar los problemas que, actualmente, se presentan en la familia y sociedad. |
| CELEBRAMOS EL DÍA DE NUESTROS PAPIS Y MAMIS |
 |
Todos los años, los alumnos de Early Years (desde los chiquititos de Nivel I hasta los "grandes" de Kinder) se preparan con mucho entusiasmo para celebrar el Día de la Madre y el Día del Padre. Este año no fue la excepción. Hubo canciones, poesías, bailes, muchos regalos y, sobre todo, muchísimo cariño.
Queremos agradecer a todas las mamis y a los papis que, a pesar de sus apretadas agendas laborales, pudieron darse una "escapadita" para estar con sus hijos y celebrar con ellos estas fechas tan importantes. |
