| TEACHERS TEACHING TEACHERS EN MANCHAY |

El 22 de agosto, se llevaron a cabo una serie de talleres educativos en la comunidad de Manchay. Alrededor de 30 de nuestros profesores ofrecieron interesantes y útiles talleres en los que compartieron sus expe-riencias con 90 profesores de primaria e inicial del colegio parroquial de la zona.
Fue una linda mañana. Todos trabajaron con entusiasmo, la banda del colegio nos ofreció excelentes interpretaciones de música popular y al finalizar la tarea disfrutamos todos juntos de un delicioso almuerzo. |

| NEWTON TALENT SHOW |

Este año, las madres de familia que conforman el PTA organizaron con mucho entusiasmo el Newton Talent Show el que, después de una serie de audiciones y una ronda de semifinales, culminó en un espectacular show el 7 de octubre. Los ganadores, que nos deleitaron con bailes y canciones de primer nivel, fueron: Karina Goulden, M&R y Annya Serkovic en canto; The Crew, Candy Girls y Amparo Peña en baile. |

| NEWTON'S 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION |
On 14th November, Newton College celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special dinner-dance organized by the Board of the Williamson Association and the PTA. The evening started with the official inauguration of our new swimming pool, a beautiful facility that that will benefit pupils, parents, staff and former pupils. This was followed by a short speech by the Headmaster, recounting Newton's evolution from its humble beginnings in rented houses in San Isidro to its current world-famous campus.
In just 30 years Newton College is achieving its vision of becoming "internationally recognized for its academic excellence and educational style." The 500 guests who attended the party felt very proud of the institution and proceeded to enjoy themselves to the music of Joselito and his band till the early hours. |
