We are looking for an enthusiastic Lower School Support Teacher to join our 2ND Grade team. In Newton College, Support Teachers work together with the Class Teacher in order to make the most of student learning opportunities. Although the Class Teacher is responsible for the planning, and overall responsibilities for the class, the Support Techer plays an important role within the classroom. The school provides Support Teachers with professional development and many of our Support Teachers have over time furthered their careers within the school as a result.


It will be considered an advantage if the candidate has:

• Experience in teaching in a Primary School.

• Qualified teacher status.

• Experience in teaching English as a second or additional language.

• Minimum an FCE English language level.


The starting work date for the post is Monday June 25th. 2018.

We are looking for an experienced Design Technology teacher who can assume the new post of Head of the Design Faculty. The Design curriculum will be taught for the first time in 2018. The appointee’s major responsibilities will be to help the school plan the new Design Centre which is to be ready by March 2019, and to develop the Design curriculum.


Candidates should be native or near-native speakers of English. Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• proven skills for a leadership post;

• experience of teaching the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes;

• excellent skills in the use of ICT for teaching and learning;
